IPC Statistical Programs

IPC conducts statistical programs for the EMS, PCB, and solder segments of the electronics manufacturing industry.  Participation in these programs is free and open to IPC members and non-members. In exchange for a commitment to contribute data regularly throughout the calendar year, participating companies receive the aggregate data at no cost. IPC collects the company data in strict confidence through its partner, Vault Consulting.

Program participants use this data to:

  • Support long-term planning and decision-making
  • Estimate market share
  • Track market growth
  • Identify growing and declining demand for specific product types
  • Benchmark company performance against industry averages in specific segments
