Item Quality Assurance Coordinator

IPC International, Inc. is looking to hire an Item Quality Assurance Coordinator.  The Item Quality Assurance Coordinator assists in the completion of the Department’s work and projects in a timely manner. Interacts professionally and cooperatively with other IPC departments and staff members and with organizations and individuals outside the Association. This position will assist operational examination development activities related to psychometrics, examination building, quality assurance of exams.  Identifying and communicating defects in processes and making an effort for a continual improvement of the QA process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Examination Development – 40%

  • With the assistance of the Psychometrician produce technical documentation related to item, test, and program performance.
  • Design, construct, and test IPC examinations; assure accuracy and quality of finished product.
  • Troubleshoot software and operational problems.

Examination Maintenance – 40%

  • Quality Assurance Validation for Certification content.
  • Review client exams for consistency with source files.
  • Document and escalate deviations in client exams with source files.
  • Audit tests for typographical errors, formatting errors, internal inconsistencies, and other quality problems, and clearly communicate quality issues.

Content Database Management – 20%

Contract Remote Senior Drupal Software Engineer

IPC International, Inc. is looking to hire a Contract Remote Senior Drupal Software Engineer.  Working remotely, this Senior Drupal Software Engineer can code custom Drupal 8 and 9 modules according to coding standards and best practices within an Agile framework. They will use TDD (Test-Driven Development) and pairing virtually with other Drupal developers for knowledge transfer and to increase quality and speed-to-value for our customers.  They will be responsible for developing reusable, scalable and maintainable website solutions and delivering best in class websites. The person should have demonstrable experience with the coding of Drupal 8 and 9 based systems with exceptional programming skills, problem solving abilities, experience and comfort working in an Agile development environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design/code Drupal 8 and 9 based software solutions following IPC’s production standards which include test-driven development (TDD) and paired programming.
  • Perform unit and regression testing of own development work.
  • Performance maintenance programming for existing implementations.
  • Document code and report on project deliverables.

Manager, Industry Research and Engagement

IPC International, Inc. is looking to hire a Manager, Industry Research and Engagement. The Manager, Industry Research and Engagement is responsible for driving IPC initiatives related to industry research. This position will coordinate IPC’s qualitative and quantitative research programs, which focus on technology, workforce, environmental and economic matters. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with IPC staff, members and stakeholders to develop and implement an annual research agenda, encompassing surveys, studies, and white papers that IPC undertakes internally or through external partners. The position will also oversee IPC’s Thought Leaders Program, which provides a platform for industry experts to share their views.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with IPC staff and members to develop and implement annually a research agenda.
  • Help scope, implement and publish studies and surveys that IPC undertakes internally or through strategic partners.
  • Oversee the success of IPC's statistical programs which includes managing an outside contractor, recruiting and retaining participants, and ensuring accuracy and privacy of data.
  • Contribute to the quality of IPC research by suggesting new techniques, tools and processes.
  • Manage existing and develop new distribution channels for IPC research.
  • Market IPC’s Industry Intelligence program through development of brochures, press releases, web content, presentations, webinars, and blogs.

Instructor-led Training Manager

IPC International, Inc.  is looking to hire an Instructor-led Training Manager.  The Instructor-led Training Manager oversees the development and implementation of IPC Instructor-led courses. The Manager is responsible for instructor performance, participant satisfaction, and the detailed coordination of the people, systems, and materials required to develop, implement, expand, and improve the IPC instructor-led suite of courses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Planning and coordination (45%)

  • Create and maintain master schedule of instructor-led course offerings.
  • Maintain an organized system of tracking, monitoring, and prioritizing course development and implementation.
  • Ensure that all course offerings are correctly listed on IPC website.
  • Issue software licenses and digitally protected course materials to course participants.
  • Work with LMS administrator to create course shells and upload instructor materials.
  • Ensure that course participants can access and navigate the IPC EDGE LMS.
  • Ensure that all registered participants are enrolled in the correct IPC EDGE course and Zoom classroom.
  • Respond to inquiries and address issues concerning course content, registration, and instructor performance.
  • Monitor course enrollment to regulate marketing involvement and course scheduling.

  • Analyze participant feedback to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze participant feedback to identify topic areas not currently addressed by the IPC curriculum.
  • Assess instructor presentation skills, performance, and productivity to identify areas of improvement.
  • Ensure that training is aligned to course objectives and meets customer needs and expectations.
  • Conduct training sessions for instructors on how to design, develop, and implement quality courses.
  • Work with instructors to implement research-based learning strategies.
  • Work with SMEs and instructors to design and develop new courses.
  • Create and maintain IPC instructor performance guidelines.
  • Keep abreast of training research and make recommendations for the adoption of new materials, methods, and techniques.

Strategy (10%)

  • Assist Director of Education to identify and contract new instructors.
  • Work with Marketing Department to develop campaigns designed to promote instructor-led courses.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university.
  • At least 3 years of experience in the implementation and management of education programs.
  • Experience designing and implementing learning experiences, including conducting needs analysis, applying research-based instructional methodologies, and interacting with subject matter experts to obtain content for intended audiences.

IPC International, Inc. is looking to hire an Instructional Designer.  The Instructional Designer works with subject matter experts (SMEs) and other IPC Education team members to design, develop, implement, and assess compelling synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences

RESPONSIBILITIES

Analysis – 20%

  • Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify the target audience’s training needs.

Design and Development – 60%

  • Work with SMEs and IPC Education team members to determine and create the scope and sequence of instruction, learning objectives, prerequisites, supporting materials, and scenario or simulation-based practice activities and assessments.
  • Engage SMEs as well as web, print, and other resources to obtain, validate, and document the information required to develop instructional content.
  • Research and distill scientific and technological concepts obtained from SMEs and other reliable sources to create easily understandable content that aligns with stated learning objectives.
  • Conceptualize and source graphics to facilitate the comprehension of written or narrated content, increase student engagement, and help students achieve learning objectives.

Senior Tech Lead, Drupal Development

IPC International, Inc. is looking to hire a Senior Tech Lead, Drupal Development.

The Senior Tech Lead, Drupal Development will manage all Drupal development at IPC: 10 Drupal developers currently working on two major Drupal 8 projects and one smaller one. There is also an ongoing relationship with an outsourced Drupal Development firm. This is a player/coach position where the candidate is expected to play a hands-on role in the development process i.e., architecting, designing, estimating, coding, performing QA, etc.

This person will lead the team to transition Drupal 8 modules and custom code to Drupal 9 and ensure the team uses appropriate coding standards and best practices. They will test the quality and security of the code. They will be responsible for ensuring the team develops reusable, scalable and maintainable website solutions and delivering best in class websites. They will be providing day-to-day leadership for the Drupal Commerce, Drupal 8 CMS and Education platforms, as well as custom module development and testing the quality and security of the code.
