PCB Design for manufacturing
PCB Design for Manufacturing (DFM) focuses on creating printed circuit boards that are optimized for efficient, cost-effective, and reliable production. It involves considering factors like component placement, trace widths, soldering processes, and material choices early in the design phase. The goal is to minimize manufacturing defects, reduce assembly time, and ensure high yield rates. By integrating DFM principles, designers help streamline production and improve overall product quality.
Who can participate?
This session is ideal for electronics manufacturing professionals—process engineers, quality assurance specialists, and technicians from Semiconductor, E&E, and OSAT sectors
Note : IPC Member can nominate 3-4 candidates. IPC Non-member can nominate 2 candidates. For any enquiry on membership status please connect with Ranee Ramya, Malaysia Country Manager raneeramya@ipc.org
