This group is chartered with the responsibility for maintaining the IPC-1754 materials declaration standard for Aerospace and Defense industries. This standard defines an XML data structure to facilitate the exchange of data regarding chemical substance reporting either in:
(a) In-Product – chemical substances found on the final product.
(b) In-Process – chemical substances not found in the final product, but are used in the process of manufacture.
(c) Maintenance/Repair – chemical substaces used in the maintenance and repair of a product. ALL substances found against the IAEG(TM) AD-DSL are reported regardless of any threshold. |
