2018 IPC IMPACT Europe | 28 & 29 November 2018, Brussels, Belgium

Empowering Europe’s Electronics Industry

IPC IMPACT Europe is our annual flagship event in Brussels, Belgium, designed to gather IPC members from across the continent to make their voice heard vis-à-vis EU policy makers.

This year’s edition of IPC IMPACT Europe, held on 28-29 November 2018, was particularly exciting with EU elections just around the corner.

Steadily growing in attendance each year, IPC IMPACT Europe 2018 gathered a variety of IPC members from different points of the supply chain from across Europe to discuss some of the most pressing challenges for our industry: EU environmental and industrial policy post-2019; EU chemicals legislation and upcoming requirements for your compliance; as well as responsible sourcing of minerals and what your company needs to know to ensure its due diligence before new EU rules come into force in 2021.

This year’s speakers included esteemed members of the European Parliament, Martina Werner and Jo Leinen, European Commission officials Enrique Garcia-John and Marten Westrup, Intel Director Corporate and Government Affairs EMEA, Julian Lageard, as well as IPC 2-18H Conflict Minerals Data Exchange Task Group Co-Chair Nikki Johnson.

IPC IMPACT Europe 2018 was also a unique opportunity to formally launch the declaration of IPC’s priorities for the next policy cycle, and to invite all members to engage to ensure that the industry’s voice is heard at this pivotal time in EU policy-making.
