Committee Charter This task group is developing IPC-2561, International Standard for Digital Twin Architecture

This standard establishes the Digital Twin Architecture, which is comprised of Digital Twin Factory and Digital Twin Product frameworks, to enable any manufacturer to create a Digital Twin, which is a dynamic, virtual representation of all physical assets, products and processes.
Within the Digital Twin Architecture, this standard provides terms and definitions for a Digital Twin and stipulates Digital Twin properties, types, complexities and readiness levels.

This standard also enables any manufacturer, design organization or solution provider to achieve full application interoperability to create smart value chains, as well as to assess their current Digital Twin readiness level.
