IPC Market Research Confidentiality Policies

IPC collects industry data using secure online surveys and data submitted are collected in a secure server.  The data are stored with code numbers only and not company names.  IPC promises to keep all company-specific data received from its market research surveys fully confidential and will not release any such data to other companies or individuals without the express written permission of the company that submitted the data.

IPC publishes reports on the results of its surveys for the benefit of all companies that participated in the surveys and for those who purchase the reports.  The survey results are based on aggregate data.  Findings are tabulated only using data in which no one company accounts for more than 80 percent of the total.  IPC will not report any company-specific information without the agreement of the participants. 

IPC’s confidentiality policies and practices with regards to data collection and reporting adhere to the U.S. Justice Department’s anti-trust guidelines.
