Tax Reform — It's Coming. R&D Credit, Partnerships, C Corps…What Will the New Rates Look Like? What Credits and Deductions Will Survive? Former Congressman John Tanner and Keith Smith will review the efforts at overall tax reform in Congress in 2012. The tax writing committees and the Obama Administration have begun to draft proposals for tax reform. We will also review the research and development tax credit and the outlook for extension of that credit and other business tax credits and deductions.
About the Instructors: Former Congressman John Tanner is vice chairman of Prime Policy Group. He joins the firm after serving in the U.S. House of Representatives for 22 years where he represented Tennessee's 8th congressional district. Tanner received both his undergraduate degree and law degree from the University of Tennessee.
