Get Up to Speed on How Ever-Changing
Environmental Regulations Will Affect You

In June, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced the addition of eight additional substances to the REACH (Registration, Evaluation, and Authorization of Chemicals) Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) list while the European Union Parliament’s Environmental Committee voted on proposed changes to the RoHS Directive. Also in June, California published a draft Green Chemistry regulation which would require alternative assessments for chemicals of concern contained in consumer products sold in the state. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg.

With the plethora of global chemical and product regulations evolving across the globe, it’s easy to be overwhelmed. On July 20–21, IPC’s It’s Not Easy Being Green Symposium will help you get up to speed on the latest regulatory developments from around the globe including chemical regulations in Asia, changes to the EU REACH Regulation and RoHS Directive, implementation of a Globally Harmonized System for Labeling Chemicals, the Canadian Chemicals Management Plan and California’s Green Chemistry Initiative.

The symposium will also tackle the halogen-free trend and the need to know what is in your products. Materials declaration will be the subject of a lively debate on full disclosure, plus there will be an overview of the new IPC-1752A materials declaration standard and an optional workshop on materials declaration following the conference. A workshop on REACH will also be offered for those wanting a full overview of this complex regulation.

More for your money: IPC’s It’s not Easy Being Green Symposium includes breakfast both days; a networking lunch and evening reception, and exhibits highlighting environmental compliance software. Stay in touch with your office while you attend with free Wi-Fi!

Attend IPC’s Environmental Symposium and get a jump start on complying with chemical and product regulations.
