Dear Colleague,
I would like you to join us when the IPC California Circuits Association (CCA) goes to Sacramento on Tuesday, May 20, to bring the issues of the California electronics industry to the attention of the State Legislature. This is your opportunity to meet face to face with your state legislators and educate them on how vital our industry is to California, the issues your business is facing, and what needs to be done to ensure a strong future for both the state and the industry.
The day will begin with a CCA networking breakfast and IPC issue briefing. Then, we will attend the California Business Summit, hosted by the California Chamber of Commerce. You will receive in-depth analysis of the issues California businesses are facing. The event includes a luncheon keynote by George Stephanopoulos, ABC political commentator and former senior advisor to President Clinton.
In the afternoon, you will meet with your legislators. IPC will make appointments for you and make sure you have all the facts you need. Recap the day’s events at the CCA Dinner, which will feature Mr. Victor Arrañaga, Senior Manager, Government Affairs for Applied Materials, Inc. Victor is considered one of the leading lobbyists and experts in Sacramento politics. We will have an interesting informal dinner conversation with him to get the inside information on what’s happening in Sacramento.
Those of you staying over are eligible to attend the Sacramento Host Breakfast, May 21, sponsored by the California Chamber of Commerce. Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has been invited to address attendees on the state of business in California.
