IPC and JEDEC are sponsoring a technical conference in conjunction with the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV on January 7, 2008.

This session will provide an overview of the "hot" environmental topics of the day including electronic waste and recycling, lead free, low halogen, and energy use.  Major OEMs will give an overview of their environmental roadmaps.  Speakers will also examine the drivers behind “green” trends including environmental regulations and directives such as RoHS, REACH and EuP as well as consumer and nonregulatory pressures. The environmental implications of these initiatives as well as costs and technical challenges will also be explored.

Location and Hotel Accommodations

The seminar will take place in the South Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. Reserve your room and find hotel information. Please be aware that IPC and JEDEC do not have a special room block for this event. We recommend that you try to reserve a sleeping room at a hotel that is on the CES shuttle route.
